Bonnie Wright is an English actress and model who became well known in 2001, with her film debut playing Ron Weasley's younger sister Ginny in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. Bonnie has played Ginny in all eight Harry Potter films. However, with the series coming to an end, she is branching out and beginning to take more roles in other films. Wright currently has a film called The Philosophers that is in post-production and is filming a movie called Geography of the Hapless Heart. It is exciting to see what this young talent will do as she takes on a wider range of roles!

In her personal life, Wright became engaged to fellow actor Jamie Campbell Bower in April 2011. Bower is known for roles in Sweeny Todd and The Twilight Saga, as well as an appearance in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1.

  • The Philosophers: According to IMDB, this film's is about an international school in Jakarta, where a philosophy teacher challenges his class to choose which ten of them would take shelter underground and reboot the human race in the event of a nuclear apocalypse. What would you do if you had to make such a difficult decision about the human race, even in the context of a classroom philosophy debate?
  • Geography of the Hapless Heart: In this film, Bonnie plays a character named Mia in a segment of the movie taking place in London. The film's themes are love, loss, and letting go and it seems to be a more mature role than her previous work.
